3rd Sunday of June + Blog Feature

Howdy! Just dropping by for some quick updates for this month.

Nexxa, Pia (a cousin) and I joined the Free Heritage Postal Tour last June17. This tour is held every third Sunday of the month and is conducted by Mr. Lawrence Chan of Filipinas Stamp Collectors’ Club and some other sponsors. If you're wondering what the tour is all about, you might want to check this blog. Only, we didn't make it inside Metropolitan Theater due to permit issues so the tour just headed to the historical Escolta street. We also had an introduction to Philately which we was pretty interesting. Oh, that was a good trip. So excited to post photos but I'll do that later on just because. Also, I've been featured by Dani, a friend/former classmate/fellow blogger, on her awesome blog, Awesome in Manila. This was the first time so I'm really excited. Read the whole feature here. So that would be all for now.

Blog Renovations

By now, you have already noticed how I'm such a huge failure in updating this blog (and my other accounts as well). I hated the fact that it didn't turn out the way I wanted. For some time, it became a blog for the events I attended and worse, a home to my giveaway entries. I tell myself time and again that I will renovate it and put some variety to my posts and time and again I was quite busy with random stuff that I can't seem to start. So the time has come and that is today. I know I can't achieve the result I want overnight, but gradually I will. And these renovations also apply in my life in general and the things I want to mend. So here is for the better things to come. More posts soon. 

Edit: Blog Renovations Part 1

Changed my blog’s layout and it’s much cleaner than before. I intended to have a before and after photo but it’s too late when I realized that I forgot to have a screen shot of my previous layout. My bad. But this is only a temporary one because what I really want is to give it a mori girl feel. Thus, explains the background.

So until my next blog renovation update. :)

My Myspace Resurrected

I had updated my Myspace account. I have it for years now but didn't really use it that much since I've only sign up to stalk someone. Hehe. But I haven't added that someone because my account's language was Latino. I didn't know how it happened, it might be my fault. But I didn't mind anyway since I can still see that person's account because it's public. What I didn't like was that even though I understand some few Latino words, I still struggled to get around my account like changing the language into English. I just got lucky that I guessed how to log out. 

So after ages, I opened it again and tried to delete it and it suddenly hit me to Google how to change its language into English (I'm such a dork I know, I should've thought of that before!). Found some instructions, followed them and viola, I succeeded.

And this made me keep my account...but I will not use it that often because I only keep it to show support to my favorite bands and artists (by adding them) and to receive updates from them as well. I also added some bands and artists I like. As for that someone, I finally added her but I don't think she will accept it because it's been years since she last updated but that's fine I'm still stalking her on FB. Haha!
